Dr.Rhona E. Guilarte

Dr. Rhona E. Guilarte is a skilled artisan and gentle woman dentist. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is a second-generation dentist. Her greatest influence to become a dentist was her mother, Dr. Elena M. Guilarte, who is an Endodontist. Dr. Rhona E. Guilarte attended Nova Southeastern University for her Bachelor in Science and Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Nova Southeastern University is a state of the art dental school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Rhona E. Guilarte’s hobbies include reading, writing, oil painting, and sketching. Her artistic talent and love for the sciences created a solid foundation for her to strengthen her skills in the art of dentistry.

Upon completion of her degree she managed to become active in the dental community by attending many Cosmetic and General Dentistry continuing education programs, obtaining numerous certifications, and becoming a member of a number of prestigious dental associations.

Dr. Rhona E. Guilarte has been involved in extensive research in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University. As a result, she is a highly qualified general dentist who performs painless anterior and posterior Root Canals from scratch as well as retreats. The research was published in the Journal of the American Dental Association in 2009, Volume 140, Issue 6, Pages 680-688. The research is entitled "Removing Root Canal Obturation Materials."


Prior to opening her dental practice, Dr. Rhona E. Guilarte spent many years of her career treating children of different ages alongside Pediatric Dentists. Therefore, she is a highly qualified general dentist that performs many types of extensive treatments on children with sedation. These treatments include space maintainers, stainless steel crowns, children root canals, sealants and pulpotomies, in addition to many other pediatric procedures.
